What a stinker!

Well Porter had his 15 month check up last week... we were a bit behind on that lol. He is in the 50% for weight and 80% for height. And his big old noggin? Lol. Well that is in the 90% But he had his first ear infection. The doc said it was really bad... or at least he has had it for a long time... but we had no idea. He acted normal and never tugged on his ears or anything. He has had a cough for the last several weeks that wouldn't go away and the doc said that is most likely what caused it. It moved up to his ear. :( Poor kid, but he will be ok. The doc said he is strong and healthy especially getting his first cold after the flu, RSV and cold season peak has passed. Keep our fingers crossed.
As for the big boy bed thing... well he is really really good about going to bed at night in it. We just lay him down and he goes right to sleep. During the day for his nap? Well that is an adventure... He will always climb off his bed and play with things in his closet or pull all of his clothes and things out of his dresser drawers. And in the picture below?

Well just when he is quiet and you think he has gone to sleep... think again. He climbed the shelves in his closet, pulled out all of his diapers and scattered them around his room. Then, he decided to unzip his pajamas and pull his own wet diaper off. I am just glad he didn't "water" anything in his room with his diaper off! What an adventure this boy is. It is very exhausting, but I really love every minute of it and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! My mom says he is a lot like how I was when I was little but not as daring. I guess when I was 18 months old my dad walked into the kitchen only to find me sitting on top of the fridge! To this day no one knows how I got up there. On top of this, Porter now climbs on to the table which is bar height might I add. So we had to keep everything on the counters... until yesterday when he decided to get smart on us and push the chairs over to the counters and climb up there as well. What a little stinker! Oh and did I mention he swallowed a lego the other day? Still waiting for that to come out if it already hasn't. I was right there ready to do the stomach thrust and back presses to get that thing out but all he did was cough a little and down it went. I don't think his cousins will want it back now :(
Today, I had my 28 week appt. Though I am actually more close to 29 weeks. Oh well. I am up 15 lbs total. So If I only gain 10 more lbs then I am in the 25 lb range and right on track. Even though I only wanted to gain 20 lbs 25 is still healthy and that is only 10 to lose after. Everything is going great! I feel great and I work out everyday and I am just enjoying this time.
Kyle is starting school up again in the summer. He has to get through some prerequisites before he starts his masters since he is getting it in accounting and his Bachelors is in Economics. But the good thing is I guess that the Masters in Accounting is actually only 1 year instead of 2 like the MBA he was going to do. So anyway, that is the up to date info on the Cross Family.
